If the goods supplied to you are faulty, they will be exchanged or your money refunded. You pay the postage costs to return the goods to us and we will either:

1.  refund the full original purchase price including the original postage or

2.  replace the faulty goods

Shipping and Handling

Any dates, times or periods for delivery of Goods quoted by FAB are estimates only and FAB shall not be liable for failure to meet such estimates or for any costs, charges or expenses incurred by the Buyer as a result of any delay howsoever caused.

Charges for Carriage are for one way delivery. Additional deliveries and exchange deliveries will incur an additional shipping charge.

A shipping charge is charged to all other destinations in Europe and the Rest of the World. Please contact us for delivery costs and options to your country.

UK Deliveries.

All orders with a United Kingdom postcode are normally despatched within one working day of receiving your cleared payment.

We routinely despatch via Royal Mail using their standard service, normally delivering to you within 3-6 working days of despatch or by Royal Mail 1st. Class for goods over 2kg., normally delivering within 2-3 days.

We also offer you the option of choosing to have your item despatched by Royal Mail Priority (Next Working Day) delivery.

To improve our delivery service to you or for other operational reasons we may from time to time use carriers other than Royal Mail. The carrier chosen for your delivery is always at the discretion of FAB.

Non Delivery.

If your Goods are not received within the specified timescale, you should notify us immediately by email.

Where your Goods are being delivered by Recorded Delivery or Tracked Delivery, we will check the tracking status of the Goods and also supply you with the tracking number so that you may check your delivery.

Delivery timescales are given by FAB as a guide, they are not guaranteed by us or the carrier and so may not always be achieved.

Please note: When Royal Mail are unable to deliver a parcel because no one is at home to receive it, they will deliver a card informing you of the address of the sorting office where you can collect your parcel.

Normally, you have 21 days to collect your parcel except in the case of recorded delivery parcels which are only held for 7 days. After these times, Royal Mail will return the parcel to sender.

In all circumstances it is the responsibility of the purchaser to collect the parcel within the appropriate timescale. Should parcels be returned to FAB, the buyer will be responsible for all postage costs, including those incurred by FAB in reposting the goods.

Slightly grey and simply delicious, this coarse grained Celtic salt is harvested by hand with a traditional method that has been practiced for centuries on the coast of Brittany in North West France. Rich in minerals, Guérande salt is not the refined, white “sea salt” that we see in many stores.

Ask any family in France, the French simply know what tastes good: the salt used in many French kitchens is “Sel Marin de Guerande”, harvested in this traditional way on the Atlantic coast. It is delicious in soups and sauces, as well as for seasoning grilled and roasted dishes.

But as well as being delicious, Celtic Salt has a rich and varied mineral content, including magnesium, potassium and calcium, as well as over 50 trace minerals, all straight from the pure seawater of the Atlantic Coast. As Sel de Guerande is naturally a very slightly moist coarse-grained salt it cannot be used in an ordinary salt mill straight from the bag. Some customers have dried their salt out in an oven on a very low heat in a non-metallic dish and then used it in an ordinary salt grinder. If you want tracked delivery then please email me before buying. Items marked 'special delivery (UK) or courier or International signed for airmail' are tracking (although courier and special delivery are the only detailed ones)

Recorded delivery will prove that I have posted your item but won't show where it is in the system until it arrives, you have signed for it and Royal Mail manage to update their website. It will not 'track' your parcel.

If you do not select the 'recorded delivery/special delivery/int. signed for option at checkout where it is not forced upon you and you want tracking - then select the second option for postage.

If you do not select this then please be aware that emails asking me for 'tracking number' or to track your parcel will result in a reply of 'you didn't select that'

I always obtain proof of postage and insure parcels regardless of method selected by you for shipping
