The main part of the dress is made from a luxurious soft drapey velvet

due to the lycra properties of the fabric the bodice is able to stretch and the skirt  hangs

beautifully. This dress is in luxurious lightweight Midnight Blue crushed velvet. 

The square neckline is trimmed in a soft gold braiding

 This fabric has a lovely silky sheen to it and is just stunning.

  The sleeves are semi fitted and end with

 armbands made from medieval style braiding and the lower sleeve is a large open bell that falls open to reveal the forearm, they are lined in gold satin........ stunning

The corset bodice at the back allows you to tighten or loosen the dress as required.

The ties are in gold

to finish the dress it has a medieval styled adjustable hip belt in gold with a celtic knot design

note: in this photo the armbands and hipbelt are plain gold fabric and it has been replaced by a gold medieval styled braiding with a celtic knot design.

It is really elegant and would look stunning on your special day and suitable for lots of occasions

The dress has princess seams

It drapes away from the hips as it falls to the floor making it a very flattering style for any one to wear. Can be worn with or without a petticoat
