I'm a lifelong supporter and Season Ticket Holder at Celtic Park and a serious collector of Celtic related clothing and Celtic memorabilia stretching as far back as the 1980's.

My collection consists of Player Issue shirts , shorts , socks , tracksuits , authentic signed shirts , replica shirts , shirts worn on Special One Off Matches , Training gear and hundreds of other Celtic related products.

Approximately 95% of my goods have came direct from Celtic , all such items are original / authentic and are new or Brand New With Tags. I also sell other bona fide football club Player Issue shirts etc.

PRODUCT  AUTHENTICITY

All of my Celtic Player Issue Scottish Football League , Scottish Premier League , Scottish Cup , Scottish Tennent's Cup , Scottish League Cup , Scottish Co-operative League Cup , UEFA Champions League and UEFA Cup / UEFA Europa League Player Issue shirts are fitted with the genuine Lextra / Chris Kay / Sporting ID Name & Number Sets and armpatches. - I would never buy , use or apply any of the cheap Far East fake armpatches presently swamping Ebay. I only deal with the genuine products. I don't issue Certificates Of Authenticity as they aren't worth the paper they are written on.

The item listed for sale is for an exceptionally rare , Nike , Celtic , PLAYER ISSUE , Season 2007-2008 Goalkeepers Champions League Shirt.

Season 07-08 realised our three in a row league title winning season

It also happened to commemorate the 40th Anniversary of winning the European Cup / Champions League.

In this particular season our club's domestic player issue shirts displayed special embroidery circling the badge in recognition of being the first British club to win Europe's most coveted club prize.

However , due to UEFA's regulations , such embroidery was prohibited on the players shirts during our Champions League matches therefore this particular version is devoid of said embroidery.

The other differing aspect of this item from the standard domestic Player Issue Goalkeepers shirt is that it's Unsponsored.

The Celtic strip displayed the ' Carling ' logo which was prohibited whilst playing French clubs away from home in European competitions.

Celtic progressed through the Group Stages against AC Milan , Benfica and Shakhtar Donestk - eventually losing to Barcelona in the Knock Out Stage.

To maintain the items authenticy , it should only display the official Lextra / Senscilia Champions League Starball Armpatch sited on the right sleeve.

Please note no other European or domestic armpatches should be applied to this particular shirt.

The product also displays all the other usual differences found between Replica and Player Issue shirts.

The shirt is basically a two tone yellow hooped pattern with plain yellow coloured sleeves.

The neck and sleeve cuffs are both elasticated.

The right hand side upper chest section displays the usual Nike Swoosh which is fully embroidered in black silk type threading.

The left hand side upper chest section displays the club badge which is fully embroidered in Gold , Emerald Green , White and Black coloured silk type threading.

Sited directly above the club badge is our ' European Star ' which is fully embroidered in Gold coloured silk type threading.

The shirt displays no sponsorship logo for reasons previously described.

The rear of the shirt displays the same two tone yellow hooped pattern

The shirt comes supplied in size Adult's Extra Large.

I've measured the shirt across the chest from under armpit to under armpit and noted it measures approximately 23 1/2 inches ( 23.5" ) prior to stretching and will therefore fit someone with a chest size up to 47 inches.

The product is the Player Issue version therefore has no internal tags - all detailing is printed inside the material.

The shirt was Made In Morocco

Made from 100% Polyester

Machine Washable at 30 Degrees.

Original Nike Swingtag is attached

Nike Player Issue product number 242733 704 refers.

Comes supplied in it's original Celtic Kitroom packaging
