Beautiful sterling silver gilt and cut amethyst stone reliquary cross / crucifix pendant, made circa 1920.

This is a stunning and large pendant crucifix / cross with a large six sided cut / facetted amethyst stone to the centre.

The cross has superb Celtic motif decoration to the four arms and a raised edge with eyelet rings around the edge.

The reverse side of the cross has a hinged cover that opens with a glass window.

The cross has a suspension ring to the top.

The crucifix is large - it is 4 inches /101 mm high (not including the suspension ring) and 2-1/2 inches / 63 mm wide. Made of thick gauge silver, it weighs 47 grams.

The cross is unmarked but tests 925 sterling silver.

The cross is in excellent condition with no dents, damage or repair.

I accept payment via Paypal as well as personal cheques in Pounds Sterling drawn on a UK bank. For international customers, by arrangement payment may also be done via bank wire transfer.

I will post worldwide and I aim to despatch items within 3 days f rom receipt of payment. Shipments within UK are via Royal Mail Special Delivery next day service. Overseas shipments are via Royal Mail International signed for service. If you require shipment via courier service (eg TNT/UPS etc), this can be arranged at additional cost by mutual agreement.
